My name is Mathijs Mulder-Barge and I'm 34 years old. I was born in the Netherlands and am currently UK based with my beautiful wife and son, Larissa and Suriël.

My mission in life is to bring the world around me in alignment with its essence, in particular in the areas of sex, personal growth and business. It is my talent to create a vision and formulate a strategy to make it happen. According to the Mayan Tzolkin calendar my birthsign is a Blue Storm. I like this analogy. Like a storm I bring a lot of energy to wash away what is not serving anymore and after the storm passes, what is in alignment with its essence remains.

My story begins in a middle class family in the Netherlands. My mother stayed at home to raise the kids, while my father focussed on work and his career. I had difficulties connecting to other kids my age, so my younger years are characterised by feeling isolated, misunderstood and alone. I tried to adjust my behaviour to fit in, but I didn't know how. It took me a decade to figure it out and by the time I was 15 I knew how to 'play the game' and became more popular. I started to have friends and a girlfriend. I felt accepted and part of something. 

In my early twenties I had a house, a partner and a career path with a great outlook. I also felt emotionally unavailable, afraid to be myself and stressed almost all the time. By many standards I was successful, but I didn't feel good at all! I knew something had to change.

I quit my job and moved to Mexico to a tantric community inspired by advaita vedanta and kashmir shaivism. That was the beginning of years living in various communities, exploring different traditions and working with a lot of people in the areas of spirituality, personal growth and healing. It sounds crazy, but it took a lot of work to find out how to express my authentic self! 

My experience in the corporate world turned out to be a huge gift. I use it to support conscious entrepreneurs in bringing their business to the next level and making an even bigger impact on the world. Aside from that my experience is rooted in extensive training at Hridaya Yoga, One Consciousness Academy, Heart IQ and Tantric Sexology, alongside various workshops and trainings with different teachers. I use this experience to coach people in the area of sex and personal growth.

I strongly believe that a holistic, trauma-informed approach to sexuality can heal and empower humanity. This has become an important part of my life and I feel honored and grateful to share it with you.
